The world is a cruel place. It is a place where money overpowers all, justice is denied, hard work is not rewarded and innocents are butchered. My friend does not believe my words. He believes that the world around him is as beautiful and good as it should be. My friend is an idealist. He believes that one should never lie, no matter what the circumstances are. He does not get involved in brawls and has immense faith in his views and analysis of life. It is his innocence which makes him an easy target for the ones looking for such people. Like thousands of innocents, he too is awaiting a disaster but refuses to accept the fact that it shall happen. I just hope that my friend as well as several thousands of innocents inhabiting this planet do not end up in the hands of the cruel ones. A day shall come when either of the two groups shall vanish and that day is not too far...
